On a sunny, but cool, Wednesday afternoon, Regent House III were the visitors to Bladon to play Royal Belfast Academical Institution V in a 3rd XV Plater 1st Round fixture.

Playing against the wind Inst were first to settle, though it took until the 16th minute to open the scoring against a determined Regent defence. Ollie Gillies close range try, and Ollie Grant’s conversion gave Inst a 7-0 lead.
Inst continued to press. On 22 minutes Milosz Burza was put into space to score midway out. Grant added the conversion and Inst were 14-0 up. Regent struggled to find territory and possession but defended gamely. Ben Grimley’s try after 26 minutes . . .
