After a convincing victory earlier in the year, Ballyclare must have felt confident of their chances in this Medallion Shield clash and it didn’t take long for them to open the scoring with their No 2, Adam White crashing over in the corner for the opening score.
The lead was extended to 10 – 0 when Jude Semple added a second unconverted try from an angled run.
Foyle responded through their pack with Sam Riley being last up with the ball to take it to 10 – 5.
