It was still grey and overcast, with unfortunately no lights, for the Women Senior One encounter at Shaw’s Bridge, between Instonians and North Down on Saturday.

A 0-0 draw might suggest a dull encounter, bogged down in midfield, this was anything but!

Both midfields kept a constant supply of ball for their forwards. Play was end to end, both sides producing chances. Only the heroics of both keepers kept clean sheets.
