The lights were on from kick off for the AIL1B match, game 2 of the double header, at the Queens Arena, between Queens and Highfield, from Cork.
The game was barely 2 minutes old, when Highfield took a 3-0 lead, from a penalty goal by Shane O’Riordan.

The game ebbed and flowed between the 22s, before Lucas Kenny was put into space on the halfway line. He danced between defenders before breaking clear to outpace the Highfield defenders, breaking a last ditch tackle to score to the right of the posts. James Humphreys conversion gave Queens a 7-3 lead on 16 minutes.
