We caught up with Tuesday night’s EYHL fixture between Banbridge and Instonians at Havelock Park.

Despite the game being top against bottom in the EYHL, it was a tight enough first quarter, the only thing separating the teams with a fifth-minute field goal from Matthew McKee which gave Banbridge a 1 – 0 lead to take into the second quarter.

The home team consolidated their lead in the second quarter with an early goal from Joshua Moffett followed by one from Louis Rowe, on the stroke of half time, giving Banbridge a 3 – 0 lead as the teams changed ends.
