A late request form one of our Featured Clubs saw a mad dash across town to catch the McConnell Shield match between Pegasus II’s and Randalstown II’s at Newforge on Saturday afternoon. The game was in the second quarter with no score yet.
Before I could set up, the home team opened the scoring with a fine shot from No 9, Molly Young from the edge of the circle. Pegs were constantly pressing but couldn’t extend the score before half time.

Randalstown put together a series of attacks at the re- start but to no avail.
