We caught up with the Junior Cup Group 2 match between Cooke and Banbridge at Shaw’s Bridge on saturday afternoon.
Banbridge were first on the scoreboard with a penalty kick from Aaron Kennedy to give he visitors a 0 – 3 lead after seven minutes.
However Cooke took control shortly after with a try from Stuart Elwood, converted by Andrew McMurray, closely followed by an unconverted effort from hooker Tom-Arthur Donnan to take the score to 12- 3 at the end of the first quarter.
