On Saturday afternoon, on Pitch One, at Stormont, Belfast Harlequins III played Pegasus IV in the Qualifying Plate, in what was the final game of a triple header. It was grey, very overcast, and intermittent rain fell, as the afternoon progressed.
In a tense 1st quarter, both teams tested each other out. Naomi Winton was on hand to steer the ball home to put Quins 1-0 up after 10 minutes.
Pegasus responded quickly with Sasha Tindal’s strike on 13 minutes . . .
