Portrush defeated Saintfield 4 – 0 to win the Irish Hockey Challenge Trophy at Havelock Park in the final game on Saturday afternoon.
Saintfield enjoyed the bulk of territory and possession in the first half but they were unable to convert their chances and the game was scoreless after two quarters.

It must have been some half time team talk for Portrush as they took the lead in the third quarter through a penalty corner from Brent Smith.
