We caught up with the Carrick Sevens womens competition on sunday at the Tom Simms Memorial Park.
The teams played in a league format with the top two placed sides going into the Lynda Waring Cup Final, the next two competing in the Plate Final and the the next two competing in the Bowl Final.
We caught up with some of the early rounds.
Group Match: Banbridge 17 Novocastrians 12
Group match: Carrick 10 Novocastrians 22
Group Match: Queen’s University 22 City of Derry 10
After the group stages the teams went into their respective finals.
Bowl Final: Randalstown 5 Dundee 17
Plate Final: Banbridge 13 Lisburn 5 . . .
