Schools Cup: Royal Belfast Academical Institution 31 Wallace High School 14 Semi Final

Wednesday afternoon saw the second semi final of this year’s Schools Cup. This was an inter-city clash, between Royal Belfast Academical Institution and Wallace High School, Lisburn.

Wallace started much the stronger side

Wallace took the game to Inst from kick off, putting in some big tackles & depriving Inst of possession. Inst struggled to get out of their own half in the first quarter.

It took 17 minutes for Wallace to register their first try. Quinn Armstrong’s line opened the Inst defence. Charlie Beattie’s conversion gave Wallace a 7 – 0 lead.
