An early kick off, on Saturday morning, allowed players to watch the Wales Women v Ireland Women, in Cardiff. Cooke and Galwegians met in an All-Ireland Women’s Cup Series Round 7 Fixture at Shaw’s Bridge.

Galwegians knocked Cooke back from kick off, denying the home side possession, though it took 9 minutes for them to register the first score. Having sucked the home defence in, the ball was moved right for Ursula Sammon to score in the corner.
Grace Brown Moran drove over after 15 minutes to double the score at 10-0. Sammon added her 2nd try on 22 minutes, before Orla Dixon wove her way over after 31 minutes for a 20-0 lead.
