Senior Cup: Instonians 22 Belfast Harlequins 25

This game was played as a double header for postponed fixtures in the Ulster Senior Cup and the Ulster Premier League D2. With an early kick off ahead of the Ireland Six Nations match the big crowd enjoyed an entertaining encounter.

It was a vigorous start from the Quins pack who kept Instonians pinned in their own 22 for the first 5 minutes. The pressure was only relieved when the visitors opted for a penalty kick after 6 minutes, Paul Kerr slotting it over to give Quins a 0 – 3 lead.
