Medallion Plate: Larne Grammar 19 Methodist College 33 Quarter Final

We caught up with the main match in the Medallion Plate quarter finals as Larne Grammar entertained Methodist College Belfast at Lower Cairncastle Road on Saturday morning.

Methody got off to the best of starts with a try, straight from kick off, for their winger Rhys Hill, converted by Louis Curran, to give the visitors a 0 – 7 lead.

Methodist College’s Issac Bell scored their second try against Larne

Larne looked to battle back but a quick double in the middle of the half put the game in firmly in Methody’s control. Issac Bell crossed for the first after 12 minutes with Ruairi Kennedy crossing for the second four minutes later. Curran converted both to give the Belfast side a 0 – 21 lead which they took into the break . . .
