I arrived at The Dub, a few minutes after push back, having travelled up from Magherafelt, for the All Ireland Women’s Division 2 Pool B league fixture, between Queens and Corinthian.

Queens had taken the lead, through a 1st minute Alysa Jebb strike. Queens continued pressure led to a Zoe Wilson goal from a penalty corner on 15 minutes. Queen led 2 – 0 at the end of the 1st quarter.

The 2nd quarter was scoreless, though Corinthian, now had more possession & were testing the Queens defence. At halftime Queens lead 2 – 0.
