On Saturday morning Clogher Valley/Cavan were the visitors to the Belfast Met Castlereagh Campus to face Belfast Met/Inst in the U18 Provincial League South.
The Met had only 12 players available, so kicked off against the full 15 of CV/Cavan at a severe numerical disadvantage.
Undeterred, The Met launched a series of attacks and from a forward drive Danny Hull powered over from close range. Tyler Davies conversion made it 7 – 0 to The Met, after only 5 minutes.
The Met devised a strategy early on. In attack they would offload quickly, moving CV/Cavan around, preventing Rucks & mauls forming, & in defence, they would blitz the inside backs, preventing the ball being . . .
