Our second All Ireland rugby game saw us at Deramore Park for the all Ulster clash between Belfast Harlequins and a resurgent Dungannon.
On a murky, wet day with the wind gusting, kicks were going sideways but pressure by the home team was rewarded with a penalty in front of the posts which Paul Kerr happily converted to give Quins a 3 – 0 lead.

A gruelling forward battle kept things stalemated until a kick ahead by the visitors was caught by the wind, wrong footing the home defence and Andrew McGregor latched on for an unconverted try to put Dungannon ahead 3 – 5 at the interval.
It was much same in the second half as the light faded . . .
