Medallion: Larne Grammar School 7 Belfast Royal Academy 15 (Blitz)

We caught up with a three match blitz for the Medallion teams at Larne Grammar, Belfast Royal Academy and Rainey Endowed early Saturday morning at Larne Grammar’s Upper Cairncastle Road playing fields.

First up Larne Grammar played BRA, the teams playing 15 minutes each way. Larne enjoyed a couple of early breaks but BRA weathered the early pressure and worked their way down field for Jayden Irwin to go over in the corner.

The visitors enjoyed the better of the first half and the Academy added a second try, through the hard working Elias Agbobkpolor, and with Chris O’Hara adding the conversions the BRA took a 0 – 12 lead into the half time break.
