Kirk Cup: Queen’s University 5 Belfast Harlequins 3 (Group Stages)

We caught up with the group stages of the men’s Ulster Hockey’s Kirk Cup on Saturday afternoon when we covered the first half of Queen’s University against Belfast Harlequins at the Dub.

The pass back was delayed by five minutes due to an overrun with the previous game but it didn’t take the teams long to get into their stride with Queen’s Matthew Vincent netting within a minute of the pass back.

Queen’s Matthew Vincent finds the net in the first minute of the game against Quins.

Quins replied almost immediately, going straight up the other end of the field for Chris “Skippy Lemon to tie the game 1 – 1 while I was still writing down the details of the Queen’s scorer!

The game settled down a bit after that, Queen . . .
