On Tuesday evening Cookstown travelled to Deramore Park, to face Belfast Harlequins, under lights, in a Group D Kirk Cup Round Robin game.

From push back, Cookstown took control, shutting Quins out, as they maintained possession and sought openings. Quins had occasional forays into the Cookstown half, but a solid Cookstown defence quickly regained possession.

Matthew Gray rounded the Josh McCare, the Cookstown Keeper, for Quins’ equaliser
