CIYMS made a fine start to the new season with a rare win against Enniskillen at Mullaghmeen on Saturday Afternoon. Report and images by Richard Owens.

Winning at Enniskillen is never easy for any visitors and the home team had an impressive record of only two losses on their patch for the entire previous season.

CI got their noses in-front after excellent support running off a Johnny Haldane break, the ball being transferred through the hands of Andy Hodgens and captain Jason Gilliland before a final diving pass to flanker Michael Houston who dotted down in the corner. An excellent curling conversion from Michael Lawton pushed the score to 7 – 0.
