The Junior Cup (9-10) between Banbridge V and Pegasus V was the second of six finals yesterday played over two pitches at the Queen’s University Facilities at Upper Malone.

Though there was no lack of effort from both sides, neither team had the cohesion to exert themselves. Consequently the game became a midfield battle of attrition for three scoreless quarters.
In the 4th quarter Banbridge gradually increased the pressure and forced a series of penalty corners.
