On Saturday morning City of Armagh travelled to Castlereagh to play Belfast Metropolitan College in a rearranged Ulster U18 Cup quarter final.
Belfast Met rumbled from kick off, they set up camp in the Armagh 22 and pressure led to a Jamie Carville try, converted by Ethan Graham, after 5 minutes.
Despite almost constant pressure it took to 21 minutes before Belfast Met registered a 2nd try. Cameron Patterson found space and ran in in the right corner. Graham converted for Belfast Met to lead 14 – 0.
An injury for Armagh, coupled with no substitutes reduced their numbers to 14. What was an uphill battle became a mountain.
