U18 Cup: Belfast Metropolitan College 23 Banbridge 12 Semi Final

On Saturday morning, Banbridge travelled to the Belfast Metropolitan College, Castlereagh Campus, for an U18 Cup Semi Final tie against Belfast Met.

Playing with the wind and slope Belfast Met established themselves in the Banbridge half and took the lead when Ethan Graham converted a 7th minute penalty goal.

In the 1st half Belfast Met failed to exploit their dominance

Despite possession and territory Belfast Met failed to capitalise. They sucked in a narrow Banbridge defence but invariably took the wrong option bringing the ball back into traffic, where the Banbridge defence snuffed out the attack.

Banbridge worked there way back into the game and took the lead when David Keogh scampered in for a try beside the posts, converted by Josefata Naga . . .
