Belfast High School Former Pupils entertained Ulster University Coleraine in Championship 3 on Saturday afternoon.
Report and pictures by Nick Murray
Originally set for the pitch on Upper Road, a problem with the showers meant the game was changed to the BHS pitches at the school late on. By the time I found out and redeployed, I’d missed the first 13 minutes, so little detail of the order of scoring to that point, but Alex Noble had bagged the first BHS try, with the conversion duly despatched by Jake Hanlon, and UUC had converted a penalty through Alan Johnston to leave the score at 7 – 3 to the home team after the first quarter.
