On Saturday afternoon Malone met St Marys College in a AIL1B clash at Gibson Park.

In a low scoring 1st half, Malone took the lead on 16 minutes with a Aidan McSwiggan try. Four minutes later Conor Dean’s penalty goal reduced arrears to 5-3.

There was no further scoring before halftime.

Malone were fastest out of the blocks in the 2nd half. Ben McCaughey’s 46 minute try was converted by Rory Campbell and the lead was increased again with David McMaster’s 54th . . .
