After a dramatic final between Bangor and North Down finished 3-3, it took a shootout to settle the U18 Boys Indoor Final on Sunday, with North Down eventually coming out on top.
North Down managed to defeat a strong Cookstown side to secure their space in the final, whilst in the other semi final, Bangor and Instonians couldn’t be separated before the final whistle. Some goalkeeping heroics and nice individual skill meant Bangor eventually pulled through to book their place in the final.
The final between local clubs North Down and Bangor was as exciting as expected – both clubs had grown in confidence and ability as the tournament had progressed and both were very capable in front of goal! After full time, the game was 3-3 and again . . .
