Limavady’s topsy turvy season continued apace with an unexpected win against Ballymoney in this Kukri Ulster Rugby Championship Division 2 match.

The tone of the match was set with Limavady running in three first half tries from , and Sam Mackey, in response to an early Ballymoney penalty, taking the score to Limavady 17 Ballymoney 3 at the break.

claimed the bonus point for Limavady ten minutes into the second half and added a penalty shortly after to extend the lead to 25 – 3.

Ballymoney finally found a response mid way through the second half with two quick tries but Limavady had the final say with a last minute try from , Wilson adding the conversion to give a final score of Limavady 32 Ballymoney 15.
