FRU: Expected Ulster team for Friday night.

There are likely to be five personnel changes and two positional switches from the starting XV against Connacht for Ulster’s match against Cardiff on Friday night.

In the backs it appears that Ruan Pienaar will start at out half with Paul Marshall coming in at 9.

The forwards should see Callum Black replace Tom Court with John Afoa and Johann Muller starting, ahead of Ricky Lutton and Lewis Stevenson respectively, but the biggest surprise appears to be Robbie Diack moving to eight in place of Nick Williams with Iain Henderson slotting in at six.

With a couple of injury niggles within the squad the replacements have still to be decided.

At the moment there are no details available on a potentially Lions laden Cardiff side!

Ulster (Probable): Jared Payne, Andrew Trimble, Darren Cave, Stuart Olding, Tommy Bowe, Ruan Pienaar, Paul Marshall, Callum Black, Rory Best, John Afoa, Johann Muller, Dan Tuohy, Iain Henderson, Chris Henry, Robbie Diack. Replacements: TBD

Ulster need at least three points to stay at the top of the league so a draw with Ulster scoring four tries should be enough – and this looks just like the team to do that! 😉
