Six Nations: Ireland and Wolfhounds Squads announced.

by

Same old faces for Ireland and the Wolfhounds indicates that Kidney’s transition for the next world cup is going to be long and protracted.

Absolutely no surprises in either squad and do get too excited about Paddy McAllister and the rest of the youngsters named as additional players as they are only there to hold tackle bags while the Wolfounds are training.

  1. the mote

With these matches counting towards WC ranking Kidney may have his hands tied and his brain in neutral .

Cullen is there to provide lineout opposition because the world and his neighbour knows the second row will PoC and Ryan with DoC on the bench.

I wouldn’t be to surprised to see D Kearney playing at full back for the for the Wolfhounds he played there for the U21s Duffy is sound but can’t see any future in his selection Hurley is also sound but an International ? much to one paced.

P Marshall has yet show consistancy and a cool head and with Murphy and O leary in the squads with the old hands Redden and Boss a 5th scrum half is not necessary His day could still come but not this year.

Great things are expected of Conway so his inclusion as a tackle bag is not surprising
Zebo is the surprise he has yet to impress me he maybe fast but he frequently looks bemused . Likewise Archer well thought of on the “munsterfans” but has yet to prove himself in a jersey
