AIL1B: Round 5 Preview.

by

All of Ulster’s clubs have a chance to make a big statement this week, before attention switches back to the Senior League, but none more so than league leaders Ballynahinch should they get a result at Dubarry Park where the face second place Buccaneers.

In what should be the match of the round it’s going to be a big ask for Hinch and the result could depend on what Ulster players are released for this game. However, we’re going to go for a win for the Ulster side, with a losing bonus point the minimum expectation.

This could give third place Ballymena a chance to leapfrog  Bucc’s should the Braid men pick up an expected win at Eaton Park against UCD. It’ll be a close one but we expect Ballymena to win though it may be by less than seven.

It’s also possible that Dungannon could leapfrog Buccs . . .
