Round 2 of the Ulster Bank (All Ireland) League 1B sees the first Ulster head to head with Belfast Harlequins visiting Ballynahinch in a replay of their last fixture in the Ulster Senior League a couple of weeks ago which Quins won 10 – 11.
Hinch will be going all out to get revenge for their narrow 1 pont loss on that occasion and it is believed that Willie Faloon has been released by Ulster to play in this one which pushes me towards a home team victory with Quins taking a losing bonus.
Ballymena are at home to Buccaneers. Both sides recorded a win last week with, perhaps, Ballymena’s away win at U.C.C. being the surprise of the round. Buccaneers, however, came on strongly at the end of last season in this league and have a hard working pack but I expect Ballymena to hold on at home for their second win on the bounce.
Dungannon have a difficult trip to UL Bohs who wil be looking . . .
