We caught up with the Medallion Shield Semi Final between Sullivan Upper and The Royal School Armagh on Saturday morning at Wallace High School.
It was a classic game of two half’s as Armagh had the better of the first half in terms of territory and possession, coming close to scoring on a couple of occasions and having, what appeared to be a good try, ruled out.

However, Sullivan made a rare inclusion into Armagh territory late in the half and a clever kick from Sullivan’s out half took a fortunate bounce for, our Game Changer, Harry McCartney to collect and run in unopposed for the opening score. Ronan Naysmith’s conversion gave Sullivan a 7 – 0 lead at half time.
