On Sunday afternoon, Game Two of the Celtic Challenge Double Header between Clovers and Brython Glasgow Warriors took place at Ravenhill. We took in the first half.

This was a much tighter affair than the previous game with both sides exchanging tries as defences were run ragged. Clovers led 24-19 at halftime with tries from Alana McInerney, 11 minutes and 32 minutes, Caitriona Finn, 22 minutes, Anna McGann, 28 minutes and 2 Catriona Finn conversions. Glasgow had replied with tries from Briar McNamara, 9 minutes, Nicole Flynn, 37 minutes and Emily Coubrough, 40 minutes, together with 2 Ceitidh Ainsworth conversions.

In the 2nd half the sides swopped scores. Clovers scored tries through Sadhbh McGrath, 51 minutes, Niamh Murphy, 60 minutes, Katie Whelan, 66 minutes, Aoibheann McGrath, 74 minutes, and Aoife Corey, 80 minutes, with 4 Catriona Flynn conversions. Glasgow scorers were Holland Brogan, 69 minutes, and Nicole Flynn, 77 minutes, together with a Ceitidh Ainsworth conversion.

Clovers now lie in 3rd place in the Celtic Challenge table.
