On Tuesday afternoon Banbridge Academy faced Omagh Academy in the 2nd round of the Medallion Shield. A deceptively warm low sun bathed the pitch in golden light.
Before Banbridge had time to settle Omagh launched waves of attacks forcing Banbridge back into their 22.
From a driving maul Isaac Crawford drove over before having the ball stripped. Jamie Bradley converted from the narrow angle to give Omagh a 7-0 lead.
On 9 minutes Omagh consolidated their lead when Jamie Stewart ran round behind the posts for Jamie Bradley to convert for a 14-0 lead.
