U21 Pathway Series: Ireland I 5 Scotland 1

After a morning at the Athletics NI Age Grade Championship at The Mary Peters Track, I called into Jordanstown for the EMTEK U21 Pathway Series match between Ireland and Scotland.

Before the game we caught up with Banbridge Hockey Club stalwart, and EMTEK MD, Neil McKee who, as well as sponsoring the Ireland U21 competition was also providing them with a couple of players in son’s Adam and Matthew.

Ireland went into the game in pole position, having won their opening two games, but Scotland looked to have the better chances in the first half, their hard working captain Jamie Croll leading the way.
