Pegasus welcomed Railway Union to Newforge on Saturday lunchtime for a must win game in the EYHL for the home side.

Pegasus began with a quick offensive, capitalising with a goal from Sophie McDowell, who slipped the ball past goalkeeper Emma Buckley.

In response, the visitors applied relentless pressure throughout the first and second quarters. Experienced Pegasus captain Shirley McCay played a vital defensive role, keeping the score unchanged at the end of the second quarter.
