On Monday afternoon, Cookstown High School faced and Clounagh Junior HS in the final of the U14 High School Cup at Stormont. 

Clounagh’s Ella McCann opened the scoring

The first two quarters were evenly matched until Clounagh’s Ella McCann stepped up to drive the ball past the Cookstown ‘keeper and give them a 1-0 lead at halftime.

Genevieve Philips-Boothe’s reverse stroke provided Cookstown’s equaliser

The third quarter was not long started when Genevieve Phillips Booth cracked in a goal for Cookstown to tie the game at 1-1.
