On Tuesday evening, in very challenging overhead conditions, Queens faced Portadown in the final of the Denman Ulster Shield at Stormont.
It rained heavily for most of the game and a bitingly cold wind blew across the pitch.
Early in the 1st quarter nether team mastered the conditions and defences were on top.

Queens, who had been under pressure, opened the scoring. Captain, Jenna McCarlie tapped in a rebound on 16 minutes, to give Queens a 1-0 1st quarter lead.
In the 2nd quarter Queens had two let offs. Katie Herron failed to take advantage of a one on one with the Queens keeper, Rebecca Spence, and Portadown had a goal chalked off.
