Medallion Shield: Royal School Armagh 14 Enniskillen Royal Grammar 7

We caught up with the Medallion Shield Quarter Final between The Royal School Armagh and Enniskillen Royal Grammar School on Saturday morning at College Hill.

It was a tense game between two evenly matched teams with most of the action in the middle of the park.

Armagh looked to have the edge on territory and possession in the first half and they got their breakthrough 17 minutes in when centre Ardie Murakami found some space on the right to go over for the opening score.

Alex Lester added the conversion to give Armagh a 7 – 0 lead which they took into the half time break.

The home team had a strong start to the second half and after a period of sustained pressure in the Enniskillen 22 Armagh’s No 8 Matthew Kerr battled over the line for their second try. Lester again converted for a 14 – 0 lead.
