On a cold Saturday, Championship 1 side, Lurgan welcomed Larne, from Championship 2 to Pollock Park for a McCrea Cup Quarter Final.

Charlie Patterson opened the scoring for Larne

The visitors got off to a flying start with their winger, Charlie Patterson bursting through within the first 5 minutes to touch down beside the posts making the conversion easy for Philip Andrews for Larne to lead 7-0. Andrews was in action a few minutes later, slotting over a penalty to increase Larne’s lead 10-0.
