United Rugby Championship: Ulster 28 Munster 3

On a bitterly cold, wintery Friday evening, Ulster played Munster in challenging conditions, in a United Rugby Championship fixture at Ravenhill.

At times conditions were challenging!

Ulster had Munster under pressure from kick off but despite this dominance all they had a show was a pair of Nathan Doak penalty goals after 5 and 15 minutes respectively.

On one of their rare forays into the Ulster half, JJ Hanrahan kicked a 22nd minute penalty goal for Munster.

Nathan Doak added 2 conversions and 3 penalty goals for Ulster

Despite having the vast majority play Ulster went in at halftime only leading 6-3.
