On a chilly Friday evening the United Rugby Championship recommenced with the visit of Benetton to the Ravenhill to meet an Ulster team, which had made an impressive start to the season.

Ulster opened the scoring on 10 minutes, through Robert Baloucoune, after a TMO check, to lead 5-0.
Benetton replied with a Jacob Umaga penalty goal after 16 minutes for 3-5.

Some fine inter passing saw Jude Postlethwaite put Werner Kok in at the corner. Nathan Doak’s conversion put Ulster 12-3 up on 21 minutes.
