On a sunny, chilly Friday lunchtime Victoria College faced Lurgan College in a 2nd Round Tie of the Senior Schoolgirls Cup at Newforge Country Club.
Lurgan were without 3 of the side, who had recently triumphed in the Stevenson Bowl Final.
Victoria took control of the game from push back, dominating midfield and forcing Lurgan to defend. Pressure told and Victoria opened the scoring in the 7th minute when Bethany McIlhatton struck.
The Victoria pressure was relentless with Lurgan rarely making it out of their half.
