We caught up with the School Qualifying match between Antrim Grammar and Lurgan College at Antrim on a cold but bright Saturday morning.

The teams battled out a fairly even, and scoreless, first quarter however Antrim were able to pull away in the second quarter as the stiff breeze in their favour took effect.

Tom McNeilly opened the scoring for Antrim Grammar

Antrim’s Tom McNeilly was the first to cross for a try on the 21st minute and this was followed by a brace from Jonah Wooley either side of a try from Cameron Molyneaux. All four tries were converted by Isaac Lynn to give Antrim a 28 – 0 lead at half time.
