Schools Friendly: Methodist College 2 Royal School Armagh 3

On a sunny, cool Saturday morning, The Royal School Armagh were the visitors to Pirrie Park to play Methodist College in a Schools Friendly.

This may have been a friendly in name but there was no quarter asked nor given in this game, which at times was tetchy.

From push back both teams played fast end to end hockey, both sides making telling passes and interceptions.

Mia Taylor beat the Metody keeper for Armagh’s first goal

When the ball fell loose to Mia Taylor she beat the keeper to give Armagh a 1-0 lead after 9 minutes.
