On Saturday morning Cambridge House hosted Limavady Grammar School in a Schools Cup Group B fixture in Ballymena.

In front of a large crowd both teams got off to a quick start, the home team opening the scoring with a penalty goal in the first couple of minutes ably dispatched by Thomas Moorehead.

Limavady came back at their hosts with attack after attack, well matched by a strong home defence until, in the 20th minute, Alex Howe converted a Limavady penalty goal to tie the scores. Heading towards half time, the visitors went ahead with their No 8, Jacob Baird storming through . . .
