Schools Cup: Belfast High 15 Regent House 48 Group A

We caught up with the Schools Cup Group A match between Belfast High and Regent House at Shore road on Saturday morning.

Belfast High started well and Picked up an early penalty by Matthew McCabe for a 3 – 0 lead.

A try from the impressive Ben Gardner followed soon after to give the High School an 8 – 0 lead after six minutes.

It took Regent a while to get going but they eventually broke through the energetic home defence on the 25th minute as Jonah Johnstone crossed out wide and with Zach McMinn nailing the conversion it was a one point game with the score at 8 – 7.
