We caught up with the Women’s All Ireland Hockey League match between Pegasus and Old Alex at the Du on Saturday afternoon

It was a closely contested game with defences dominating in the first half and the teams changed ends with the score still at 0 – 0.

Neither side were able to break the deadlock in the third quarter and we went into the final quarter with it still all to play for.

Lucy McKee picked up her third goal of the season when she scored against Old Alex
