On Wednesday afternoon, at Lisnagarvey Hockey Club, Antrim Grammar School faced Cookstown High School in the first Semi Final of the Stevenson Bowl.

Ruby Hynman opened the scoring for Antrim

Cookstown had the better of the opening exchanges before Antrim broke out. Ruby Hynman’s rasping cross shot found the Cookstown goal to give Antrim a 1-0 lead. Antrim led 1-0 at the end of the 1st quarter.

Despite both teams creating chances defences were on top until late in the 4th quarter.

Lois Cunningham struck Cookstown’s equaliser

Lois Cunningham’s 45th minute strike from a penalty corner gave Cookstown the equaliser. The game ended . . .
